SUMMARY:Perinatal Mental Health Workshop: Advanced Evaluation and Management of Psychiatric Illness in Reproductive Age Women with Adria Goodness\, MN PMHNP-BC
DESCRIPTION:Please join us in-person at the MacMillan Community and Education Center Saturday November 15th from 9am-5pm. We will watch pre-recorded sessions from Advanced Evaluation and Management of Psychiatric Illness in Reproductive Age Women with Adria Goodness\, MN PMHNP-BC from 9-12pm\, take an hour break for lunch\, and complete the day with sessions from 1pm-5pm.  View the content virtually if you can’t attend in person.  \nAdria created an on-line training for the ACNM so providers across the country can learn vital education and tools to care for people experiencing perinatal mood disorders. This virtual training includes 9 sessions with the ability to earn 9.5 continuing education credits and 3.0 pharmacology credits.  \nWe will plan to watch 7 hours of the material together. Each registered participant will have access to all of the sessions until December 15\, 2025 to watch the remaining 2.5 hours of material. After viewing all of the sessions each participant can complete the post-test to receive continuing education credits and a CE certificate that attests to their advanced knowledge. \nThis event will be hosted in a conference room with chairs and desks. We will bring snacks\, balls to sit on\, yoga mats and will provide a Mediterranean lunch. \nRegister here Zeffy ticket MN ACNM Mgmt Psychiatric Illness \nMore about the educator Adria Goodness\, MN\, PMHNP-BC: \nAdria Goodness earned her degree in Midwifery and Women’s Health from Oregon Health & Science University in 2003. She practiced as a midwife for many years and experienced the challenges of caring for women with perinatal mood disorders during pregnancy and the postpartum period. She sought additional training to care for these conditions and received her post Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing in 2011. She has since been providing psychiatric care for adults in her private practice in Portland\, Oregon\, specializing in perinatal mood disorders.    \nThis training typically costs $275\, but Adria is offering the MN ACNM a discounted rate of $175. Once you register for this event through the MN ACNM via Zeffy you will be sent a discount code to use when registering to receive the on-line content on Adria’s website. You will need to register for this event in two locations\, once on Zeffy to register for the MN ACNM event and once on Adria’s website to gain access to the course material.  \nWe are offering space\, community\, lunch and snacks to enjoy and learn this content together. However\, you could also choose to watch these sessions on your own. There will be a spot on the Zeffy site to indicate if you intend to participate in person on November 15th or on your own.
